Dr. Dean earned her MD degree at Loma Linda University
in 1979, and was elected to Alpha-Omega-Alpha honors
medical society. She completed a one year internship
and three years of residency in Diagnostic Radiology
at Loma Linda University, where she served as Chief
Resident of Radiology. She then did an advanced
fellowship in ultrasound and body imaging at Stanford
University, and subsequently spent a year as a faculty
radiologist at Stanford.
A board certified Diagnostic Radiologist since 1984, Dr. Dean has specialized in
women’s imaging and breast diagnosis since 1989.She interprets thousands of mammograms every year. Dr.
Dean was the first in the Tri-County region to introduce
CAD
(Computer-Aided Detection), cryoablation, and the first to
