For best image quality we advise that you schedule breast procedure 2 to 12 days after the start of your menstrual cycle. If you are concerned about potential breast pain during your mammogram please discuss this with the technologist before your examination. She may advise that you consider using the Mammo Pad, a disposable foam pad designed to minimize discomfort associated with breast compression. Often patients who have had a difficult experience at another facility are pleasantly surprised by how easy mammography can be when performed by a true professional.
